Copying the phrase White / Blue (marlin) Lives Matter is unoriginal, and, Lamplugh is pretending that his only purpose is in support of a good conservation cause, even though it IS a good cause. It's not possible he didn't realize this was going to become controversial, and that people would feel it was trivializing civil rights. "At what point do we start getting offended? Where is the line?" Lamplugh said. "At the end of the day, people are way too sensitive today."

Why is it that certain people, when they say or do something that they know is going to start a controversy, say that others are "getting offended" and "are way too sensitive"? George, why not just admit it -- you wanted to get a lot of publicity, and sell a lot of tee - shirts to people who want to insult or minimize the Black Lives Matter movement by wearing a shirt they can claim is innocent and that they didn't MEAN to be offensive. Of course it's your intention to trivialize civil rights making and wearing shirts using this phrase; the issue of the marlin is secondary and being over-shadowed by the larger controversy. All y'all, grow some cojones, come up with an original slogan for marlin conservation, and print up some different shirts that openly acknowledge whatever issue you have with Black Lives Matter -- you feel threatened, you don't understand it, you want to insult people without consequences, you don't care because it's not a problem FOR YOU.
