Very friendly staff. Pharmacist is extremely knowledgeable. Rather come here for small purchases over WAWA across the street any day.
Feel compelled to write this to let others know how I was treated by a pharmacist in West OC. It was early Saturday morning when my Dr. called in a RX for a small bottle of eye drops. I waited a couple hours then drove to RiteAid. The pharmacist seemed agitated when I asked if it was ready, and in a harsh tone told me she was working on it. I was the only person there waiting, so I walked around the store shopping for about 10-15 mins and checked back with her. She said she was "still working on it", so I asked about how much longer it would take. She harshly replied "about 5 min....IF I'm not interrupted by phone calls". I tried to explain I wasn't rushing her but if she had replied another hour I would go out and run some errands elsewhere. Her response was to tell me, "yes, why don't you go". I replied, why would I do that when she had just told me it would be 5 mins? She was clearly in a bad mood, and now she was digging in her heels and really make me wait even longer, so when a gentlemen came in she immediately stopped working on my RX to talk to him for a while about his son that use to work there. I waited patiently and when she finally said my RX was ready, I had picked up a hair brush to purchase, she told me "she was too busy to add it to my order and I would have to go to the front to purchase it." I couldn't believe she was making me go stand in a line at another register when it would take one quick scan to add the brush to the order. It was just her way of being vindictive to me. I will never use RiteAid pharmacy again, especially when there is a CVS right next door... because I don't ever want to deal with her again!
