My first impression: It was breath-taking. I couldn't stop saying how beautiful, gorgeous, and incredible it was!
Side note: this hotel is an ADULT ONLY hotel. Which is another plus. We didn't know this prior to arriving, but it's good that we didn't have our daughter with us, or else we would have been turned away. However, it's a nice touch to help enjoy your time away from life!
This hotel is definitely worth more than 5 stars.
-The breakfast is great for us too, because we don't like having to get up and dressed by a certain time to try to enjoy a breakfast that might or might not be there when we show up..... we are on vacation, I'd like to relax. :)
I ended up choosing a balcony...
During the evening, room service will come in and light candles for you, put music on the TV, turn down your bed (with chocloates), and set breakfast in the refrigerator for the next morning.
I was looking for hotels in Ocean City, MD, but it was very hard because I've never been here before. It was also hard to decide between an indoor pool or a balcony with a view of the bay.
As I'm typing this, I'm dreading the fact that I have to get up out of this bed, and start packing our things to end our vacation.
My husband and I have finally found the time and money for our honeymoon (4 years later).
As we were registering we were offered a glass of sangria. The beautiful winding, wooden staircase and a very sweet and gracious assistant lead us to our room on the top floor. The view of the bay was breathtaking! The jacuzzi was so inviting and you could see the bay from it. The beds were very comfortable. The room was spacious and beautiful. The white furniture looked new and was beautiful and comfortable. It had a white marble fireplace and a table and chair set if you wanted to eat in the room. We took a ten minute, majestic bay view walk over the quaint bridges to the Fager's Island Restaurant where we had dinner and watched the most beautiful sunset as they played Beetovens Fifth Symphony right in synchrony with the sunset. Then we took the same walk back to the hotel except this time it was moon lit. When we opened the door to our room they had turned off the lights and lit candles! It was so romantic!! They also turned down our bed, and put a chocolate on each pillow. The room looked perfect with fresh towels and new jacuzzi bath salts (cause you know I had already used what was there and I used it again the next morning) They also left fresh fruit and orange juice and muffins and linen napkins and plates and utensils for us to have breakfast the next morning. We did have breakfast out on the deck of our room!! What a marvelous experience!! The ambiance was alluring and unforgettable!! It will be one of our fondest memories!! I recommend this Hotel as a treat in itself and I suggest you forget about the Ocean City festivities and just enjoy the Hotel and its surroundings. Truly a couples retreat!!

The bathroom and the room furniture are gorgeous. In the bathroom is one of the best tubs I've ever been in. With jacuzzi jets and bath salts, it was very relaxing.

Our first time here was to suprise my wife with our anniversary, the hotel staff made our stay special. The room has amazing views for that perfect sunset. Coming back from dinner the room is set with that romantic setting with their "turn down service". We are now back during 4th of July, they upgraded our room and to our surprise we had a perfect view of fireworks at Secrets which is only a few blocks from the hotel. Again a special night for us. I will add that they now have a weight room (bonus for me)...Definitely recommend to all...enjoy!
This hotel is incredible! From the complementary treats as soon as you check in, to the amazing room and view.
The bedroom furniture is super comfy. The lounge chair was a cute extra, with a small blanket to cover with, that was definitely my favorite place to sit. The bed is so fluffy and welcoming, everything about it was great.
This hotel is absolutely amazing!!
