3.5 Stars. Service was top notch. Extremely fast cook.
I have an unusually large appetite but usually that is not a problem with breakfast. I ordered the veggie omelette and had a choice of one side, I chose grits (tiny bowl). I also had a side of turkey sausage (2 patties @$3.45, ouch). The total was $17.18, pricey. I left hungry. I think that price is way too high to not get home fries and toast included. Sorry I would not go back.
The food there was awesome. They have an amazing selection of foods on their menus, the staff is great, always ready to accommodate. This is one great spot for breakfast, I would recommend this to everyone if your in Ocean city.
This place knows how to do breakfast! Delicious pancakes, omelettes, and much more. Usually a wait to get seated, but worth it. Once inside, service is prompt despite crowds.
The next day we had breakfast at Burger King right down the street and at a little over $5 for a breakfast platter that included everything, the food was surprisingly very good.....a lot better value than at Happy Jack's. Our tip at Happy Jacks covered the cost of one breakfast platter at Burger King.
Diners beware the food here leaves little to be desired. My husband and I both got the bacon cheeseburger omelet which looked great. The problem is the taste or lack there of. They tasted like fat/grease and the pancakes tasted like cardboard. Our waitress was kind BUT did not seem to care if our food was bad. The only item we recommend is the salsa. Lastly the omelets come with cheddar cheese I just asked for American and the charged me .99 for a topping??
This place is very overrated. I ordered a bacon and cheese omelette and it was very small and thin, about 4' x 5" square with very little egg in it. Consisted of mostly of hard and chewy bacon so I knew it was old bacon and for $9 it should have been a lot better and larger.
