A great experience! Service was very fast and very friendly. They have an outdoor kids playground next to some corn hole games that seem to be open all year long as my kids were out there playing in the middle of December. Would highly recommend especially if you have larger groups.. They seem able and ready to accommodate them at any time.
My family ate here on a Sunday when the special is half-price entrees. The atmosphere was great with mediocre food and service. The portions are small when compared to the price. $29 for a cup and a half of seafood Mac and cheese is a little much.
Beautiful view. Waitress was great and food was good. Rock fish tacos were small but delicious. Could have had more fish on them. Disappointed they only have oysters on the half shell. They used to have a delicious fried oyster dish with a mango rice or something similar and some kind of drizzle. We were told they stopped offering oysters as a menu item this past May.
The first thing you will notice about this place is the warm, and iconic atmosphere. Seated right on the bay, the Ropewalk gives you the choice to dine on the deck, in the sand, or inside by the endless wall of windows. All three options have their own visual advantages. The view is perfect of the water, and baylife. Beach grasses and palm trees make the scene outside, and inside is decorated with relics, ships, ocean life icons and more. However, the Ropewalk isn't all atmosphere- it also boasts a robust menu and friendly staff. The Caesar Salad, and wings are not to be underestimated. The Salad was fresh and large. Wings came out fast, and full of unique flavoring. My most recent visit included the most attentive and intuitive wait staff. Ashley was hands down one of the best servers I've had in years. I will be back, maybe even this week, for the atmosphere, staff, view and food.
Great play area for kids and location on the bay is really nice. The food is good and servers are friendly and knowledgeable. This is a completely peanut and nut free restaurant, as a parent of an peanut and tree nut allergy child this is refreshing to see and a relief to know that its a safe place for my family. The staff is not allowed to bring any nuts into the work place and ingredients are with out cross contamination. We will be coming back!!
The server was very accommodating for our group of 6 adults and 4 kids. And their daily specials seem a good value but still like the size for the price.
If you want a place with great atmosphere come here and sit at the bar and enjoy a beer. It looks like they have some great outdoor seating. But we would probably not eat here again.
