Small independent diner. Casual atmosphere, great good. Reasonable prices. Very crowded on weekends.
Good hearty breakfast..just like my dad makes. Decent prices. Just extremely busy!! Food was good. I especially liked our older woman waitress very friendly! Will be returning.
I wish I remembered to take my pics before I ate the food lol. But friendly service. Food was good. Pancakes were huge! Very filling. Lots of Grateful Dead things on the wall. It was cool to look at the stuff from over the years.
I would recommend this restaurant to others. The service is good, the food is good, and it's a nice place for the family to eat. The restaurant was busy when we arrived, but there was only a short wait for our food. The prices are reasonable, but it's a cash-only restaurant. We did not get to see Joyce. She is off on Thursdays. If you don't know what I'm talking about you may want to go and see. I had the ham and cheese omelette, my wife had the eggs and bacon. As you can see from the cup, these folks have a good sense of humor.
Have been coming to the Sahara Cafe for over 14 years and love their food, prices and friendly staff. Super fast service and lots on the menu to select from. Their pancakes are the best in OC! Real easy to get to just off of the boardwalk. You won't be disappointed.
