Outstanding people. Twice in two years we have traveled to the Ocean City area and left our diabetic dogs needles at our home 3 hours away and the people at PP were very quick to help us.

Our little Mini Pin was diagnosed with diabetes and had to be put on a special prescription diet. We called Precious paws Animal Hospital (5 minutes away) in Ocean City, they would only fill our prescription from Olney Sandy Springs Veterinary Hospital if the doctor saw Bella, the cost of a doctor's examination and visit probably around $340. They were all about the money, they told us it was illegal for them to fill a prescription without first examining the dog.
Sunday we took her to Pet ER. Although they helped, there was no official diagnosis. Polly was feeling worse Monday. She would not eat, could not walk, and was minimally responsive. We were sure we would have to put her down. We took her to Precious Paws Monday morning. Dr. Flood and her staff cared for her all day long. Polly was given an IV and a stronger antibiotic after a diagnosis was made. Throughout the day, we were given updates of her progress. When we picked her up at 5 pm she was responsive, walking, eating, and so much better! Clear written instructions were given to take care of her.
Dr. Flood and Marisol were so unbelievably gentle and loving with my dogs, my heart was melting. I'm truly astonished by our introductory visit to Precious Paws Animal Hospital in West OC. I'm most certainly a client of theirs for the years to come. Thank you, sincerely, to Dr. Flood and Marisol. You're amazing, and it was a pleasure to meet you.
My English Springer Spaniel is 11 years old.
I called several more veterinarian hospitals in the area all had no problem filling the prescription. Ended up going to Berlin Animal Hospital (30 minutes away) they were awesome, couldn't do enough for us, $26 later had plenty of food for the Bella. Save at least $350.
She started getting sick Saturday afternoon.
Talked to several people that said Precious Paws tries to gouge out of town people because they know they are the only vet in Ocean City.
