Good atmosphere but overall disappointing experience. My kids ordered the pancakes and took one bite- they were very heavy with nutmeg and cinnamon (couldn't blame them). Thought this should have been noted on the menu or mentioned by the waitress. When the waitress asked how everything was and I mentioned the pancakes she said "Yeah, I'm not sure why they do that. The French toast is good, have you tried that?" But didn't offer to replace or refund their meal. The omelettes were unimpressive and the potatoes were spicy. The best part of the whole meal was the monkey bread and toast they served with the meal. I would consider going back to the bakery downstairs but would not return to the restaurant- pricey and overrated.
Good food and beverages. We were seated quickly. Place was clean. My only complaint was that they did not have a changing table in the restroom. The bathroom was too small to even change a baby with a changing pad on the ground. I didn't see handicapped restroom facilities either, but we were not actively looking for one. They are just usually the biggest ones and the next best option for changing a baby if a changing table is not available.
We went for breakfast. We were not asked if we wanted to be seated outside or inside. Pretty much ignored by our waiter. "Toast" was cold with frozen butter. Omelet was good. Potatoes had so much spice that they were inedible. A real disappointment.
Usually like this place.....ordered a spinach salad and a burger to go (both were supposed to come with bacon) once at home, I noticed not 1, but both items were missing it. I called continually to see if this could be fixed (since I paid extra for it) and even drove back down there. It's clear the employees are in such a hurry to close at the end of the night, that not only did they get our order wrong, but they stopped picking up the phone long before closing. This could have been fixed.
Went for breakfast on Sunday, service was great and food was good. Went today (Saturday) and it wasn't busy, we were sitting outside and sat there for 15 minutes, didn't get drinks, didn't get greeted or anything. I asked a girl cleaning tables if she could see if someone was coming and she went to find out. The the girl that was handling the tables where we were came out and checked on a table and walked right passed us again without saying anything. A couple that was there before us left too because she got their drinks and didn't come back. So we left we will. Terrible service. Very disappointed.
