Amazing food! Fantastic service! Amazing food! Wait, I know I said it twice , only because I can't type it 100 times. This place was packed and they still got us in and food within 30 minutes with 11 groups ahead of us. They are professionals, don't worry they got this.
We both ordered omelets, which are very big, and tasty! They came with hash browns and biscuits, biscuits were warm and toasted yum. Coffee and oj, good substantial meal. Service was quick and efficient, no complaints. This is the off season, October, but the restaurant was full. No lines waiting to get in, tables were filled quickly as customers finished and left. I think Barn 34 is open year round, but not positively sure.
Restaurants above cheap burgers and fries are to find in Ocean City, which is why Barn 34 is an oasis. The interior is pitched like a bar reminiscent of a pirate ship with iron chandeliers and wood paneling. Pretty clear for an early Thursday night dinner, we called ahead to reserve a table. Happy hour until 8p if you sit at the bar. Three different types of mules come with a souvenir cup (and $2 off refills). I had the strawberry lemonade which was both refreshing and sneaky strong. Fried chicken sandwich is by far the best thing on the menu. Bartender service was friendly and quick. Apparently it's THE hot spot for bunch but it gets crowded. Highly recommend!
This place has a lot of great options; the chef's never fails to disappoint here. Basically whatever you get, it will be good. I will say, however, I always find myself drawn to the fried green tomatoes, and their fish tacos. I will tell you, that despite the variety of flavors and the dishes on the menu, I always get the fish tacos. They are not just my favorite in Ocean City, but probably my favorite of all time. I recommend ordering them the way they come and throwing one to Hank Sauce (a cilantro hot sauce they put on all of the tables).
Excellent food. The beach babe is a great breakfast burrito. The other food brought to the table looked amazing as well.
