Over the past few years I have seen some of the buffets in Ocean City become less appealing than they once were. I was a little skeptical about Embers, but, after stopping there, was pleasantly surprised. The items on the buffet were very good. We enjoyed the crab legs, clams, fried oysters, soups and several other offerings. The Raw Bar was exceptional as the clams and oysters were ice cold and very tasty. The servers were great and, lastly, the buffet was fairly priced. Will stop there in the future.
Just ok for my taste - but if you're looking for an extensive buffet you may like this. I thought the price was on the high side for the overall quality of the food - but the quantity is definitely there. I didn't hate it but I just personally wouldn't go back.
I love this place. All you can eat seafood buffet. Food is good. Service is great. It's a little pricey but it's also a vacation spot.
Went to embers restaurant august 26 during jeep week, went there at 3 pm. On a Saturday, place was half full got seated almost immediately, got a bay view table. The buffet was big, tried almost everything. The fried clams. Was like eating fried rubber bands cold and tough. The crab legs was good, nice and hot, but in order to get the best you need to catch them when they replenish then with fresh ones. They are more meatier then the ones at the bottom. The Alfredo sauce was a bit too thin And runny it should be more thicker. I know, I used to be a cook. The fried oysters was small, but better than the clams. The fried shrimp was good. As was everything else. May go back soon.
Best seafood buffet I've ever been too. It's huge and the food is always fresh and stocked. Great quality as well especially the crab legs. You get whole clusters, not just scraps.
