My 3 friends and I were patrons of Fager's today for about 4 hours. We visited mainly to see our friend who was playing with his band, but I was extremely surprised at the amazing customer service and hospitality. I have been in hospitality and marketing for a decade and Mark was amazing. He was in a blue shirt behind the bar and went above and beyond for all hours we were there. I probably would have only visited previously for my friend's band, but I will be returning because of Mark's service. He is truly an asset. Thanks. Please extend him accolades.
Great ambiance great service and great food. Get there near sundown and get a surprise. Make sure that you make a reservation it gets busy. The view is awesome. Food was really good. Try to get a view on the balcony.
My experience at this restaurant was unexpectedly positive and enjoyable. The food was great. I ordered shore wings which gave me the opportunity to try the well-known Old Bay seasoning. I was additionally provided with a unique experience around sunset at Fager's.
Fager's main area is an indoor deck. You have to see it to appreciate it. Here they have live entertainment from 5-9 on weekends and then a DJ plays from 9:00 on. There is also a fully indoor dining room and bar which converts to a live music arena after 9pm, featuring the best bands around the area and from up and down the east coast. We saw several awesome bands this summer that we will go back for every time they come back.
My waitress was very cheerful and eager to take my family's requests throughout the meal. Background music and a lovely view of the bay continued to lighten my experience. In my opinion, Fager's Island is a must at Ocean City.
Excellent local MD craft beers. Food was good but not great. Our waitress was extremely nice and the food came out very quickly...too quickly...
This is the BEST place to go in Ocean City for food, drinks and live entertainment if you're older than 30! The food is phenomenal (I crave the garden burger and fries) and the view of the bay is second to none. They celebrate the sunset all year round with Tchaikovsky's '1812 Overture,' climaxing with streamers at the moment the sun disappears over the horizon.
Exceptional atmosphere: sat out on the outdoor deck on the bay, live music coming from inside, tradition of playing the 1812 while the sun set. Certainly a hot spot for Ocean City nightlife.
Would definitely return.
