Slow Sunday night so we were a bit apprehensive about dining here. Good choice. I had the Seafood nachos and I thought they wouldn't fill me up but they did. Cream of Crab soup was too thick and lacked chunks of Crab I am used to. The Orange crush was GOOD! The table "bread" was muffins and they was surprisingly good as well. Donna was our server and she was kind, attentive and super friendly. Her recommendations were spot on. I gave it 4 out of 5 stars because of the crab soup.
After waiting about an hour for myself and my partners meal. We decided to just leave, they claim they had a lot of customers. However, there wasn't a lot of people on the top and bottom deck, or inside. I only received my appetizer. Which was smallest shrimp I could have brought a my local market. After staff member continued to lie that our meals were almost ready. A group of four, which came 20 minutes after us received their meals. We were on vacation and since we spent a long time waiting for dinner there. Most of the restaurants we should have picked first were closing. We planned for a lovely dinner out, but ended up with cheese stakes from the boardwalk.
Service was extremely slow. We were not told the daily specials as I heard the other tables being told the daily specials. We had to ask what the fish of the day and the vegetable were. Ordered sweet potato fries and got regular fries, another member of my party ordered crab legs and didn't even get butter with it, she was done eating before we even got the butter we asked for! I ordered the "stuffed" flounder which was not stuffed at all. They brought it without the crab that it was supposed to be stuffed with and instead of taking it back to fix it they said they would bring the crab so I can put it on top of it myself! By the time I got the crab (to stuff by myself) my founder was ice cold! Would never go back here again! It wasn't very busy but the waiters/waitresses seemed very overwhelmed!
20 yrs ago this was a great restaurant. Not today...this old and dated dump needs to be lit like a Roman candle. Any restaurant that has an indoor play pit for kids better have golden arches. If you have flies that annoy your indoor customer I question the integrity of cleanliness. Our waitress wiped our table with a gross bar towel. Our food was not cooked thoroughly. The bread amd muffins were not fresh. We all raced home to the lavatory. I wish I could put yellow police tape around this dump. Save your money and stomach.
Great customer service! Delicious food! Dinner comes with a salad and a side and I love when my dinner comes with a salad. Also you get a complimentary muffin. Amazing view of the sunset! Great place for dinner!
