Service was super slow. Waited 15 minutes for a server to come to us after being seated, then waited another 15 minutes after asking for water and bread. Thought bread would come free but nope. Bread took another 15 minutes to come out. We ordered two sandwiches which took 20 more minutes to come out. Food was mediocre compared to what you're paying, could've at least included homemade chips or an option for something else other than a bag of chips for such a pricey crabcake sandwich. Also got the "off the hook" specialty fried grouper sandwich, well it definitely tasted like it was just taken off the hook and deep fried with no seasoning at all because it was the most bland piece of fried fish I've ever had. The total for two sandwiches came out to be around $35-$40. And the time for us to be seated to when we left was 1.5 hours.
Quality food, but lacking flavor. I ordered the Mahi fingers. Substantial amount of nice fish, but not seasoned at all. Came with an aoili, which was fine, but I would've like some hot sauce in addition. Also ordered the crab & avocado salad. Again, nice fresh ingredients but short on flavor. Enjoyed the atmosphere & service.
We waited 10 minutes for our drink order to be taken. We were seated outside near a large group (of 8) and two other small families. Our waitress seemed overwhelmed. It took us over an hour to get our food from the time we sat down. At the end, I found a dark hair in my food (we are both blonde). We waited 20 minutes to get our check. Then another 20 minutes to have a $2.00 discount for the hair in my meal. If I would have known it would be such an insulting "discount", we would have paid the 2 bucks for our wasted time. Overall, a horrible experience that took 2+ hours, when intended to be a quick late afternoon meal. Zero stars would be more accurate.
The place is great. Food is great but never leave a credit card and run a tap They put over $70 worth of stuff on mine that I didn't buy.
Great food and atmosphere. Service is top notch. Management came by to check on our table and we're really friendly. Tuna tower and lobster tacos were delicious.
