I caused. As a customer I appreciated the respect and would rent from them again when I return next summer.
Went in $100 safety deposit, signed basic paper work, and was off in less than 10 minutes, great place, cheap too for what it is!
Just got back to our motel after renting from cycle city....I can't even begin to describe how great my experience was! Great mopeds and scooters and even better service! Was assisted by jack and I believe the other guys name was jimmy and they made it an experience we won't forget. They take excellent care of their equipment and the hourly prices are very affordable! I definitely recommend renting from this business!
They made out honeymoon even better! Great customer service, great prices and nice scooters. We had a lot of fun!
Will never go back to cycle city oc. Saw on the website that you could rent a scoot coupe (little 3 wheel cars) for 3 hours for $80. Got to the shop and they said "oh that's old, it's $120 for 3 hours." False advertisement. Scoot coupe was in awful condition, one turn signal didn't work, mirrors moved out of place after a small bump, neither the speedometer or fuel gauge worked at all, so we didn't know how fast we were going or how much gas was left. Rented for 3 hours, brought it back before 2 hours was up because it was very difficult to drive and the steering wheel would jerk randomly even just going on a straight/smooth road Staff wasn't understanding or helpful at all, wouldn't even think about charging us only for a 2 hour rental instead of 3.
Staff was awesome got me in and out quick, excellent experience even though I brought it back w some accidental minor damage. They asked if I was ok and didn't over charge me for the damage
