Very rude and extremely patronising guy, went to him to sell my bike and he was not friendly and talked down to me
If you like kindness, honesty and fair prices, this shop is for you. Seriously, the gentleman running the shop was so considerate, and he exhibited ungodly patience while fitting me and my three young children with bikes. The world needs more people like him.
The brightly painted sign informs those wishing to rent a bicycle that at 6:17 business begins. Sure enough the garage rolls up slowly and vintage bicycles, children's tricycles, along with two and four person riding contraptions silently make their way onto the adjacent sidewalk so that they may wait patiently for passerby's to rent . My best friend and I stayed at the hotel above the Wobbly Wheel, and immediately became enchanted with the owner.With laid back beach attire, worn sandals and long grey hair, he sat idly in his folding chair, casually engaged in conversations with people from all walks of life. In addition, military members are offered a special discount. I plan on traveling back and highly recommend this rental over the others.
Danny lived up to his reputation as a very fair and helpful person who enjoys doing the right thing. I had a flat tire on my mountain bike & called Fri morning to see if repair service was available at the Wobbly Wheel. He said "come on down and we'll take care of you." He discovered after inspection that the tire needed to be replaced as well as the inner tube. I had previously purchased an inner tube thinking I could "do it myself". Was not feasible. I brought the inner tube with me & Danny was able to utilize it & save me some $$$. His service was great and such an easy guy with which to do business. Thank you Danny for helping me get my bike back on the road. You're really terrific!
Best place to rent bikes at Ocean City. The owner Dan is one of the friendliest and nicest guys you will ever meet . My family and I have been going there for years . You see my daughter is disabled and can't pedal a bike yet Dan made the experience wonderful. He had this two seated three wheel cycle that I could pedal and she could experience riding the boards . His bikes are well maintained and safe. Thank you Wobbly Wheel.
