Crowded and a little messy. Employees were slightly rude. Always fun at the arcade though. They have s fun apin the wheel game if one of your tickets has 777 on it.
My 2 year old had fun even though not much for younger kids to do. It's hard to win tickets and takes a lot of tickets to get prizes. We had 30 tickets and got a quarter size rubber ball. Spent roughly 10 dollars. But fun and got us out of the sun a bit. Not much A.C. so still warm inside.
My partner and myself enjoy the outings, seeing people from all different places, enjoying the sites and sounds. But a leisurely stroll can turn to a moshpit depending on what hour you get there. If you don't mind the NYC style foot traffic then you're good. Go a little before dinner time 4-6 was pretty chilled out. Or later around 10-12 after the mass of people have usually retired for the night.
As far as I'm concerned, this is the best arcade on the boardwalk. I love the selection, and my guilty pleasure game (Big Buck Hunter HD) is always in good shape and well calibrated.
