Pretty cool from the outside
I could not in good faith recommend this room (502) or this place to anyone. I strongly suggest you stay elsewhere . You will have spent your money better than we did.
Checked into room 308 yesterday. We have the room for a week. When we walked in the room had a heavy smell of smoke even though the non smoking room was advertised. When we called the property management desk the people at Caldwell said it isn't their job to notice that and did nothing about it. They said they were going to bring industrial spray down to get rid of the smell and never did. We also called because the wifi doesn't work and instead of helping us, they said that they aren't sure if wifi is provided in the unit from the owners. Overall bad smell with smoke and old amenities and the customer service is terrible. I do not recommend to anyone or any family.
Unit 202 is very nice. The kitchen and bathroom are updated and clean. It has a queen bed in the bedroom and two double pull out sofas in living room. Great location and great view of the beach and boardwalk from the balcony.
First day we arrived. The elevator was not working all day. Are room was on the 5th floor. Fun fun fun. Room had no toilet paper. We where to bring linen only. Then coffee pot leaked. Tv in living room was a new 30" lol. No one uses these in a bedroom anymore let alone a living room. We know it's the beach and you are usually outside. But it does rain and the weather can be bad, and some just like to wind down with it. For an extra $100 thry could have purchased a 42. (Cheap)
Great rates on the boardwalk and good accommodations with separate bedroom, bath, kitchen, and balcony. Can we loud outside because right on the boardwalk @ 3rd street.
The room smelled of mildew. The second day the HVAC man barged into the condo first thing in the morning and my wife only had a long shirt on. He was not sorry at all, just said he didn't know we where there and he needed to check the A.C. wife was uncomfortable every day since. Then we decided to leave a night early because of the bad experience. As we where leaving the elevator broke again. Omg. There are a lot of owners that live there also. Most are very nice. But a few look down at you and are no less than mean when dealing with you. Would rather not be bothered with you.
It is a shame as the location is great.
