I attended a wedding here. It was catered (I'll post a glowing review of Mother's Cantina Catering next time I'm there) but the place was a palace. There were friendly doormen and beach access. The view was stunning.
I really do miss the original Gateway hotel. Our room was always right on the beach.
Although the unit we rented is very nice, the atmosphere of the front desk people are cold, especially to children including the so called female manager. Signs everywhere keep the sand out, wet suits etc - a no- brainer for any high end hotel or condo. There is ONE hose to spray off feet, etc yet an employee took the hose right out of the hands of my nine year old boy. Spoke to so called manager who could have cared less. No customer service and no apologies but happy to joke about it to a security guard. We were hoping to preview a second home and this place is not for us. All the owners we spoke with had similar feelings. We will be looking elsewhere
