On vacation, enjoying the day and then my car was sputtering, stalled out at the red light and difficult to get it running and being away from home and almost in panic mode, my son found Mike Dents, had excellent reviews and so we called, they were able to see our car first thing in the morning, they diagnosed the problem, fixed it and allowed us to enjoy the rest of our vacation. They were so professional and expeditious as we really thought our vacation was at an end. Being out of town, I was concerned about the cost and honesty. After they explained things and the cost all up front, they saved our vacation. I wish they were back here in Pittsburgh, PA. Expeditious, honest and cost effective, not to mention they like dogs, as we had our 2 with us on vacation.....I recommend them before looking elsewhere when in the area.
When we were on our way to Ocean City from Hershey Pennsylvania, our back brakes went out. We were referred to Mike Dents automotive repair shop by a relative who has benefited from his kindness and expertise in the past. He got us in the same day we called, ascertained the problem, gave us a quote, and fixed it and just all within a couple hours. His rates were extremely fair and reasonable, and he was very courteous, knowledgeable, and expedient. Would recommend him to all!

My family and I drove into Ocean City from Pennsylvania when I noticed a bad rumbling sound from the front of my truck. I decided in the interest of safety to schedule service. I found Mike's online and I'm glad I did. They got me in the next day and found that both front wheel bearings and a tie rod needed replaced. They took the time to show me the issues and explain the work that needed done. They also patiently dealt with my warranty company which was no easy matter. It was reassuring to know that as a tourist I wasn't getting ripped off. As I sat waiting for my truck to be finished I watched these guys take care of multiple customers and everybody walked out the door satisfied including myself. They do the work right the first time.
Car wouldn't start, then started. Got it to Mikes, they gave it a check. Told me car and key not calibrating.
10 min reset. Other key to work fine.
While on vacation at Ocean City, our vehicle experienced power steering issues. I took our vehicle to Mike Dent's. They were very friendly and professional. They called me with an estimate which I thought was acceptable and spot-on. After they fixed our power steering issue, they called to say that the power steering was fixed.....And the belt was fine - no cracks, etc. - no need to replace it! They could of just replaced it and charged us but because there are still honest people in the world we saved $$$. I would highly recommend their business to anyone!!
