The workers don't know a lot but the manager was great! Prices aren't bad either.
The owner is a thief. They keep your deposit despite you returning their cycles on time and not damaging their bikes. Their bikes have broken gauges that they don't disclose, you ask and they say they didn't know. It's worth paying extra bucks somewhere else rather then being scammed. When you walk in one person gives one price while another gives another. This places lacks personality, integrity and very poor management skills. Won't ever come back to rent a cycle from them:
This place is one of the nicest looking cycle rental places in Ocean City MD. The staff do not speak fluent English and it's hard to understand what they are saying. The cashier or manager not sure who he is, likes to bash other places when you ask about prices. That should had been a red flag for me as soon as I started filling out the contract.The cycles are at a reasonable cost $50 for an hour and $100 deposit which It's been over a week and I haven't seen it credited back to my account. I put a dispute with my credit card company. They give you an hour time but by the time you have your helmet and sit in the cycle and they try to explain to you with their broken English how the cycles work, you're already good 10 mins into your time. Upon return of your bike they surprise you with extra charges like $10 gasoline charge and if you're late by a few minutes they emphasize on the fact how they could had charged you for a full hour so you feel obligated to pay the extra $10. This place is highway robbery.
I showed up spur of the moment with my 4 year old son. We were able to rent a three wheel two passenger scooter and take a drive for an hour. It was $50 for the hour with that big one, it was worth it as we got to cruise up and down the island. We even delivered mom a bottle of wine. I felt it was worth the price and my son and I got to do some extra exploring riding in the bus lane.
Horrible experience. Called and spoke with an employee who said they could rent me a ruckus under special circumstances and a fee of $110 plus security deposit. I asked and he confirmed multiple times before making the 60 block trip. Upon arrival the owner said they would never rent a ruckus overnight, and had a horrible attitude and acted disinterested in the bulls*** he or his emplyee put me through promising me deals on the phone to bait me in and offer me a basic moped rental extremely overpriced. Told them theyll never get my business and now im walking 5 blocks to your competitor and save money. Waste of time jerks dont care just want your money, id be surprised if they dont scam you out of your security deposit
