One thing you need to know about this condo
It's terrible
Sea Watch #110 is the unit I rented and it is very outdated & dirty. THIS UNIT IS NOT OCEANFRONT. It is advertised as ocean front but the view is of a parking garage and huge building. As verified by a realtor that rents these same units in this very building. The owner said " I failed to look at the pics he posted with the ad." I have pics if anyone would like real pics. This unit is way over priced for being a side unit. There are plenty of options with ocean front for less money and in better shape. The owner answered the phone every time I called while there was a balance owed but once I arrived he forgot how to answer and hid behind emails saying that I should have viewed the pics better. Granted, there is a pic of the ocean from the balcony but there is no way to determine that the pic is from the fartherest unit away from the ocean on the side of the building. This is very misleading. My original reservation was for 4 nights which I extended to 5 nights prior to my arrival and the owner did discount the 5th night but this unit is way over priced to begin with and will I never rent this unit again. The Sea Watch is known as one of the better condo buildings in OC and the ameneties is what attracted me but this unit is in need of alot of repairs which I have pics of as well.
Rented room 606 at Carousel Resort Hotel and Condominiums. The room was filthy and in a state of disrepair... we awoke to see a bedbug on our sheet. The owner of the condo had an exterminator do an inspection. Later the owner told us that the exterminator found nothing and inferred that we were lying about the bed bugs. We contacted local health services they let us know that the exterminator report found dead bed bugs and that the unit was treated again. The unit was also treated in early July for bed bugs. The owner never apologized for either the condition of the filthy condo or the bed bugs.
I rented Sea Watch #110, which is described as "ocean front". This unit is NOT ocean front, the view is of a huge building. When you exit the living room & master bedroom and turn right you have a view of the ocean. The owner says that there is a difference between "ocean front" & "direct ocean front". However when I spoke to a real estate company, that rents condos in this same building, they say there is no difference and that ocean front is ocean front. The pictures in the ad are very misleading, which is the owners defense. I spent over $2000 for a 5 night stay and I could have rented a ocean front for a whole lot less. The condo is very out dated and dirty. We had to clean it upon arrival. This place needs a lot of upgrades and repairs. I took pictures of the dirt and needed repairs. My original rental was for 4 nights which I extended to 5 nights prior to my check in and the owner did discount the 5th night. I would never rent this unit again as there are many many other options at a far better rate and cleanliness. I gave the owner the opportunity to make it right and his response was "I should have looked at the pictures in the ad better as there is a picture of the ocean from the balcony."
