This is a great private community at the heart of OC. Everything you need to enjoy a vacation. The rental homes are nicely decorated and spacious for our family of 12. Wanted to take the husband, our children, grand children, and my parents away to enjoy a week of R&R before summers end. Will definitely be back next year.... PERFECT PLACE TO BE!
Great Condos and a great community. Has everything in the community or within walking distance. I believe there is a pool, both indoor and outdoor, a restaurant, many walking paths, docks, beaches, dog-friendly community, well-kept, and quiet. Highly recommend renting and/or owning a condo, townhome, or house in the Sunset Island Community.
This is a 1st class community. The rentals are immaculate, well furnished, and comfortable. The grounds are meticulously maintained like Disney. The community has a private beach-no waves, along the bay-which is shallow and warm. When I say warm, I mean 85 degrees in June and July. Perfect! The pools are fun, indoor and outdoor. It's guarded by 2 guards. It would be better if it had a slide though. The restaurant serves top notch delicious food and drinks, and they don't gouge you. You can even order anything right to where you lay on the private beach. The sunsets at the beach/pool/bar area are magical. Taylor was my server several times. Attentive and friendly. I found all of the wait staff to be friendly and accomodating. There is a mini market inside the community, very helpful if you forget or need anything-they could use more help in the morning though. Besides groceries, the market serves gourmet coffee, pastries, and desserts, and it's open until 9 pm. Market serves ice cream and 3 free toppings which is great for kids. Sunset Island is located at 67th, convenient to almost everything-including Rte 90. Lastly, there are no thugs, loud music, and hanging pants below the mendoza line-which is perfect in every way.
