Close to the beach and north end of the boardwalk, plus free morning coffee. Those are the Flamingo's greatest attributes. The rooms are suitable beach quality. Unfortunately smoking is still permitted on balconies and walkways, forcing sensitive people to keep balcony doors closed and sometimes walk through clouds. That policy seems dated.
Overall, the stay was pleasant and very convenient for our family of 7 (6 adults, 1 child under 6). We stayed in tower 2, which appears to be recently renovated though some areas could use an update. Not really much to complain about but not sure if I'd stay here again as the rates are for larger groups and I don't often travel with my entire family. The location is awesome, the rooms are clean and the amenities are acceptable.

Overall, I go here because it is cheap and I can't afford anything else. If I ever have more money, I'll stay somewhere nicer. After staying in both the Motel and Tower 1, I felt as though Tower 1 was nicer. They are strict on the noise policy, which I personally love. This is one of those motels where you never want to take your shoes off because of how dirty it seems. The staff is awesome. If you ever have a problem they will be at your door within minutes to fix it. They also had a box of donuts in the office one morning by the coffee for guests which was very nice.
Cons: The furniture is very worn. The bathrooms are VERY dated. Cleaning wise... the floors in my bathroom on my last visit were visibly very dirty, fresh towels had hair on them, carpet had visible stains and looked very dirty, large bleached-like stains on wallpaper, and the room smelled musty. We had to have someone come and fix our sink because it was clogged upon arrival... they literally just removed the whole stopper out of the sink. Our bathtub was very slow to drain. There was also a random hole against a wall in our bedroom. There was some visible black mold in the grout of bathroom/shower tile.
2. Extremely close to the beach; the walk from hotel to beach is about 3 minutes.

5. So many things to do steps outside of the motel including Jolly Rogers, round-the-clock dining, scooter rentals etc.
Pros: Very cheap, two very clean pools (indoor and outdoor). The staff is kind and attentive. The business is family owned, great location, and close to the beach. Each room has a private balcony, nice tv, fridge and microwave.
1. For the price, it would be nice to offer complimentary breakfast.

1. Rooms are large, can accommodate 6 guests and are really clean.
I have stayed at this motel for a total of 3 years now.
Third time we stayed here. Tower 2. Somewhat dated but a good value. Good location. Rooms appear clean though checking under the beds revealed no one took a peak under there before we moved in. Beds are too soft - at least to our liking. WiFi is waaaay slow. In the 21st century, that's as important as a pool was in 1973. Friendly housekeeping. Overall, we'd stay here again. But addressing the issues mentioned would be great and yield an even better rating.
2. Pool appears more spacious in pictures; it's actually quite small.
There was a cleaning fluid spill in our original room, but Management was quick and friendly about moving us to another room. Motel's location is very good - close to many things. Have been coming here for many years. Not an 'upscale' place, but comfortable, generally clean, and usually pretty quiet. Reasonable for the price.
6. Their noise pollution policy is respected.
