This hotel has beautiful decorative fresh feel. It is dog friendly, thus the aroma of dog can be found throughout (elevator smelled of urine, hallways smelled of dog, furniture in room smelt of dog). You can even hear the dogs barking. If you are looking for a place for your dog to stay, then this is the hotel. It was an extremely different stay at a dog friendly hotle in NYC during the Westminster Dog Show. You would never have known dogs were at the hotel ( you could not smell them., nor hear them).
Also, I would not recommend staying at La Quinta with children because we found needles on the floor that they could have come in contact with. We notified the front desk upon departure where they just said “I’ll let our housekeeping know.” Zero apologies. I will not be returning or recommending this hotel to anyone.

The breakfast was limited to waffle station without the bells and whistles of whip cream and powered sugar. It is carbohydrate haven with limited protein options (just hard boiled eggs and yogurt ). They may want to step up the breakfast to include nuts for yogurt and waffles. In addition, some hot food protein options.
Beautiful rooms and 100% pet friendly! Rooms have tile floors making it easy to clean up any pet accidents. Great continental breakfast as well.
I recently stayed at La Quinta this past weekend (1/1-1/3). After a night out I had called asking about a roll away bed and was told to come to the front desk when I arrived. I did so, and was told it would be an extra $25 to receive the cot. I declined and said no thank you. My friend was so intoxicated she could barely stand so she had to sleep it off for a little while in my room. I noticed today that I had a charge of $20.90 and called the hotel to inquire the charge. I was told that I received a roll away bed and that it is $20. I told the man on the phone that I did not receive one and he told me on the phone that in the notes it says I seemed intoxicated and asked for the bed and it was on camera that I had an extra guest stay. Regardless whether or not I was intoxicated has nothing to do with the fact I never received a roll away bed. The man on the phone began speaking to me rudely and I asked to speak to a manager and he told me that he was the manager. I asked him if he speaks this rudely and treats all the guests in this manner. He said, “Yes I do when I think they’re being unreasonable.” He also told me I signed an agreement not to have another guest and I asked for a copy to be sent to my email, after receiving it there is zero proof of my signature on such an agreement.
I recommend this hotel. The downside is the rooms are small and tight. But it does have a balcony with a great view of the beach. This hotel is close to the beach so it's a short walk there. This hotel also allows dogs. But you can't bring the dogs to the beach. So someone has to stay in the hotel room to watch the dogs. This boardwalk here is fun. They have sovineer stores, arcades, food places, rides, and it is right next to the beach. They also have historical sites here. From the hotel it is a fair amount away from the hotel.
