Very comfortable and spacious room. Nice amenities and features. Maintenance staff was prompt and quick to respond to our air/heat problem. Great locale on the beach and nice view from the room.
This hotel is CONSISTENTLY outstanding in all areas! The facility is managed smoothly and professionally, the rooms are very large, spacious and spotlessly clean, and the ocean is right at the back door! You simply cannot beat this Quality Inn if you want a pleasant stay in Ocean City. We have been to many other hotels, but ALWAYS return to this one for the best experience. The two hot-tubs, the sauna, the two pools, the 24-hour coffee and fruit as well as the delightful atrium birds make for the ultimate in seaside accommodations.
Showed up for Halloween weekend on Friday. When we entered our room we turned the TV on. Has sound but no picture. In the corner of the room was a mouse trap which had a dead mouse caught in it. When I went down to the front desk I asked them if they thoroughly cleaned the rooms and they said yes with confidence. I then showed them the picture of the dead mouse. The gentleman at the front desk said " oh, I can come clean that up" and as far as the TV "just unplug it and plug it back it". Well thank you sir, that's how I found the mouse. They put us in a new room which had no AC or hot water. The next morning after sweating all night we went to the front desk about that issue. They said give them an hour and a half and we can move you to a different room. 4 hours later they called to say our third room in two days was ready. During this whole time you would think our faces would be familiar. Nope. When we went back to get the keys to the third room they people acted confused as to what we were there for. Once we get to the new room we we're thankful it had AC and hot water and no signs of dead varmints. Thankful for a good night's sleep and an ocean view but staff could use some help. Especially after the last staff we encountered didn't seem surprised about the mice story.
Needs updating but still a favorite spot for us. Check in guy was efficient but not very friendly. Great location. Comfortable rooms. We're retired but this place would be great for young families.
I would have given zero stars if it weren't for the staff attempting to make a horrible experience better. The pictures don't reflect the run down and dirty state of the hotel. We were in our for one hour and while my children were playing my son said "mom there's a bug". It was a huge cockroach!!! My heart dropped and our vacation was ruined. I reported the issue to the front desk and the gentleman was as helpful as he could be by offering to change our room. He also gave coupons for free ice cream and a couple of drinks at the hotel restaurant. We checked out the following morning because we couldn't get comfortable in the hotel. Thoughts of possibly bringing home cockroaches, dirty hotel and hair was everywhere. I also need to mention that it was Labor Day weekend which was hard to find other hotel accommodations at the last minute!
