This was a great place to stay for our recent vacation. No it doesn't look like the other hotels but for the price, I was completely satisfied. It does not offer a continental breakfast, but they do provide fruit and coffee at the front desk. The room was clean (I used to be a housekeeper so I would tell you if it was dirty). The rooms are newly renovated so do not judge this hotel by its looks because the rooms are a lot better than the outside of the hotel. The pool is very nicely kept up and the staff was very polite also. This is a privately owned hotel and I truly think they are doing a great job as far as cleanliness and keeping kind staff.
Good location and friendly staff. The room was cool and good for one night. However, was disappointed in the fact the pool was closed for maintenance. Also, in the middle of the night I got awakened by a mouse in my room! Luckily, the two gentlemen on night shift transferred me to another room. I am not sure if I will stay here again but only if I need a place to stay.
This place was good for the money spent. It's right on the beach and near the beginning of the boardwalk. The front desk staff was very nice and helpful. The room itself was clean enough to stay in but the rest of the place was not. if you are picky about that you might want to find somewhere else to stay. I'd give it 3 stars for the cleanliness but the service was great so I bumped it up to 4 because that's important too. Overall it was a good stay.
Its nothing fancy but it works. Ocean front rooms have been updated. Just a walk over the dune to the beach. This is our second time staying here and i would stay again.
First room had a strong musty smell. Got a new room. At first we didn't smell anything, but after coming back it was there in the new room as well. Not nearly as bad as the first. Might have been the air conditioner. Beds were nice. Not too stiff. Staff was friendly and seemed genuinely happy to work there.
If you are expecting something fancy with all the amenities you should look elsewhere. This is an older motel with some older motel issues but nothing that would cause alarm.
