Rooms were clean, bed was very uncomfortable. Also its directly above Shenanigans bar. So it can be pretty loud until late at night.
My family and I have stayed at the Shoreham for several years, and each and every experience has surpassed our expectations. Our room is always extremely clean and the staff is beyond friendly! Any issues we have ever had (which are very few) have always been addressed and handled immediately and to our full satisfaction. A special thank you to the manager, Angel, who has always been there to answer any and all questions we have had. We will continue to stay at the Shoreham Hotel each and every time we visit Ocean City, MD.
Great price for an ocean view 2-queen bed room during peak season ($135 with taxes). No elevator but cannot be expected in a small 2-star hotel. The hotel is not in the front of the building but the rear. It's not a bad hotel. Our room was clean. Water pressure was poor and hot water not consistent. Temperature of water changed while showering from hot to cold then back to warm. I would have rated them better if Ms. Personality was friendly and welcoming. Would I stay here again? Probably not.
The windows may be small but the view is great! The staff has been excellent and very friendly! Room is clean and comfortable. They provide free parking and the water in the shower is plenty hot. The only issue some people may have is that there are no elevators. This was not a problem for us so we got the 3rd floor (top) and it has been great. I'm very picky about where I stay but this is one hotel I would stay at again.
While there are some good things here, we were told we had an Ocean view Queen room. The room had quite a slant in the floor and the bed tipped in that direction, so we slept at the foot of the bed. The room was very small and had a queen bed in it..thus I guess queen room? The view was a normal size window with an air conditioner in it obstructing the view. The night table Lamp was broken at the neck and plugged in! Upside was the place is clean. Customer service is well, not what I expected either. For the money, I have to say it is very over priced. The ads are very misleading.
